Match port size, thread, and valve family

Bypass assemblies, yokes, rotors, caps, handles, and retainers connect the control valve to household plumbing. Confirm the valve family, port size, thread standard, and complete OEM number. A 3/4-inch fitting and a 1-inch fitting are separate parts even when their bodies look similar.

Bypass and depressurize the equipment before plumbing service. Follow the manufacturer's sealant and O-ring instructions and local plumbing requirements; do not support the system's weight from the valve fittings.
