Identify the valve body before the Logix controller

Pentair Autotrol 255 and Performa 263/268 valves can use similar controllers, but their valve-body parts and camshafts differ. Record the body label, cam number, injector size, plumbing configuration, and every suffix from the existing component.

Use the 255, 263, and 268 identification guide, then browse the 255, 263, or 268 model reference. A one-digit difference between cam numbers can identify a different valve family.
