Tank size, flow direction, and application determine the injector

An injector creates the pressure differential used to draw regenerant. Injector colors and numbers correspond to documented flow ranges and applications; they are not universal upgrades. Upflow and downflow valves can also place the injector and plug in different ports.

If the system will not draw brine, use the valve-specific brine-draw checklist before replacing parts. A restricted drain, low pressure, air leak, screen blockage, or internal valve leak can produce a similar symptom.
